PMI-ACP Exam Prep 考試全攻略 (二) : 如何填報項目經驗 Project Experience Worksheet

在網上報考時,需要填報相關的項目經驗 (Project Experience Worksheet)供PMI審核,要通過審核才可以正式參加PMI-ACP的考試,在填報時很多學員都會感到有點無從入手,以下是一些建議和範例。

1. 要清楚列明項目的 objectives 和 deliveriables,千萬別遺漏您在項目的 project role。

2. 盡量使用Agile的術語,如product backlog, iterations, technical debt, refactoring  等等。

3. 盡量涵蓋多一點項目的流程和不同的階段,反而個別的流程或階段不用寫得太冗長。

4. 盡量簡潔,多用point form。

以下是一個成功通過審核的實例:

Project Title: Inventory and Replenish Alerts System

Duration: Feb. 2014 to Sep. 2014 (1120 hrs)

Project Role: Product Owner (Project Contributor)

Description:

Our client is mainly providing spare parts to automotive manufacturers. In order to offer added value to their customers, they would like to develop a system to provide warehouse management, multi-sites inventory visibility and replenishment alerts hence to enhance the service level to their customers.

Our company adopts Scrum methodology and I act as the Product Owner to engage with the key stakeholder of our customer. My main tasks include:

·     Interact with the customer to collect and clarify requirements in an on-going basis

·      Analysis the value of the requirements and then write User Stories

·     Prioritize the User Stories and manage the Product Backlog

·     Ensuring that the Product Backlog is up-to-date, visible, transparent, and clear to all team members

·     Frequently discuss with the Development Team on clarifying and refining the User Stories

·     Attend Sprint Planning meetings for goal setting and requirement clarification

·     Involve in Sprint Review meetings to encourage customer feedback

·     Join Sprint Retrospective meetings for team continue improvement

 

Project Title: Cloud Migration  

Duration:  Jan 2015 to April 2015 (480 hrs) 

Project Role: Scrum Master (Manager) 

Description:
This is the second phase of the Inventory and Replenish Alerts System project to migrate the system to Cloud environment. This time I act as the Scrum Master to facilitate the Team. 
Our company adopts Scrum methodology and my main tasks include:

·    Coaching the team to understand and use Scrum processes correctly

·    Ensuring the others in the organization understand the appropriate interactions with the Team

·    Facilitating the team and protect them from outside noise

·    Removing impediments to the Team’s progress

·    Take part in Sprint Retrospective meetings for team continue improvement
